Standard Mommy Makeover Package

Abdominoplasty

During your consultation, we work with you to develop a surgical plan that addresses all of your specific concerns. We provide guidance on how to best schedule the procedures with consideration to your day-to-day responsibilities and other priorities. Some of the procedures that may be included in your mommy surgery package are:

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation using silicone implants, saline implants, or fat transfer is the ideal solution to restoring or creating breasts that are full, shapely, and give the appearance of a more youthful silhouette.

Breast Reduction

Breast reduction works by removing the excess breast tissue, fat, and skin. It’s a great solution for mommies, who need to get back and sometimes improve the shape and size of their breasts after pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Breast Lift

A breast lift, which is also referred to as a mastopexy, is the surgical procedure of lifting, raising and reshaping breasts that have sagged and/or experienced loss of skin elasticity. Breast lift surgery can reduce the need for heavier-duty bras and return breasts to a more natural state.

Liposuction

Liposuction is a surgical procedure that removes excess fat. Liposuction is an outpatient procedure that helps patients gain more confidence while removing stubborn and unwanted fatty tissue.

Thigh Lift

Inner and outer thigh lifts remedy excess fat and loose skin on the thighs. A person may need plastic surgery on one area or the entire thigh. The lower section of the buttocks may also be modified during the procedure.

Dermal Fillers and Injectables

Dermal fillers and injectables are non-surgical options for lines and wrinkles. The treatments take very little time and you will be thrilled with the results. Results may last one to two years, with optimal correction and depending on the formula used.

Skin Care Treatments

Our skin care treatments can give your skin a rejuvenated appearance without the extensive downtime that is required for surgery.

Vaginal Rejuvenation

Similar to the breasts, a woman’s vaginal area contributes to her sense of femininity. We offer two options for vaginal rejuvenation: surgical and non surgical.

How Much Does A Mommy Makeover Cost?

Combining surgical procedures during a mommy makeover is typically more financially beneficial than undergoing each surgical procedure individually. Combining the typical mommy surgery elements such as breast augmentation, liposuction, and tummy tuck can save on costs such as those associated with anesthesia and surgical facility fees.

How Long Do The Results Last?

Our Mommy Makeovers reset the clock to give your body a shape that reflects your pre-pregnancy physique, but the surgeries do not stop the hands of time. We encourage our patients to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle and an at-home skincare routine with professional products to keep their bodies and skin looking great well after the procedures.

How To Choose A Surgeon For A Mommy Makeover?

One of the key elements that will determine the results of your mommy makeover transformation will be the surgeon you trust to perform it.

One of the first things most patients do is a search on the internet for “mommy makeovers near me”. This is a good way to find out some basic information on which doctors in your area perform mommy procedures. However, it is important that you do your research.

Look at the surgeon’s experience, credentials, medical training, affiliations, publications, before and after photos of mommy makeovers, and patient reviews. Next, set up a personal consultation, meet with them, and ask questions. Gauge your comfort level with both them and their staff.

If you are unable to find a surgeon you completely feel comfortable with and trust with your surgery, you can always travel to another location within the United States.

Many cosmetic surgeons including SurgiCare Arts offer mommy makeover packages that include beautiful hotel accommodations.

Pregnancy and childbirth change your breasts, abdomen, arms, face, and so many other areas of your body. If you have lost most of your pregnancy weight and do not want more children, now is the time to learn about a mommy makeover. Find out how we can customize our procedures to help you look younger. Mommy Makeover FAQs

How do I prepare for a mommy makeover?

There are a few things you can do to ensure long-lasting results from your surgery and a complication-free recovery.

Reach Your Ideal Weight
Hold off on your surgery until you are close to your ideal weight and do all you can to lose any baby weight you have gained. The typical mommy makeover involves a tummy tuck and liposuction, and many women do shed a few pounds during their MM, but neither of these procedures was designed to be used for weight loss. Also, it is important to understand that any changes in your weight after your surgery could negatively impact your results.
Stop Smoking
We already know that smoking is unhealthy and that nicotine can have long-term effects on your baby or other children. In addition, nicotine from cigarettes, vaping, etc. can cause complications during your surgery and inhibit your ability to heal properly. If you are a smoker, your doctor will ask you to stop smoking for around six weeks before your mommy makeover.
Stop Using Certain Medications
To help mitigate complications during your surgery and recovery, you will need to avoid certain types of medication for up to a month before your MM. Your doctor will go over any prescription medication you may currently be taking, but you should discontinue the use of medicines that cause blood thinning like ibuprofen and aspirin.
Stop Drinking Alcohol
Alcohol thins out your blood, which can increase your risks during and after surgery, so you should not drink for at least two weeks before and after your MM.
Prepare Your Schedule And Surroundings
You will need to make arrangements ahead of time for leave from work, help with children or pets, transportation, etc. You will not be able to drive for a while, so you will need assistance getting around, running carpools, errands, etc. Having the pantry stocked, the laundry caught up, and some meals prepared and in the freezer can be very helpful to you and those caring for you after your surgery. You should create a comfortable environment where you can rest and have your prescriptions, water, and some snacks within easy reach. Many women like to sleep in a recliner for a few weeks after a MM because this helps keep the body slightly bent during the initial healing phase of their tummy tuck. Place an ample supply of pillows and blankets within easy reach, as well as some options for entertainment.

How long is a mommy makeover surgery?

A MM is a combination of several different surgical procedures, and the length of time it takes to complete depends on the procedures chosen for your mommy makeover and the extent of correction needed by each one. Typically, a mommy makeover takes anywhere from 4 to 6 hours.

What results can be achieved from a mommy makeover?

A mommy makeover is meant to restore a woman’s body to the way it was before she became pregnant, delivered, and nursed a baby. The results of her MM will be dependent on the combination of surgeries she chooses to accomplish this. Most mommy makeovers result in a combination of abdominal improvements that include abdominal muscle repair, a flatter stomach, a smoother and more toned waistline, and a reduction in body fat through liposuction. Also, lost volume is restored to the breasts, and they are lifted and returned to their natural position. Some women also choose to increase the size of their breasts using implants during their MM. Additionally, a MM can improve or eliminate the issue of urinary incontinence that many women experience after a mommy makeover.

How long does it take to recover from a mommy makeover?

The exact length of time it will take you to recover from a mommy makeover will depend on the surgeries that were performed. The typical recovery time is about two weeks to begin being able to move around comfortably, eight to twelve weeks to return to normal activities, and possibly up to a year for complete recovery.

How dangerous is a mommy makeover?

While all surgical procedures carry risks, choosing a skilled and board-certified cosmetic surgeon for your mommy makeover significantly reduces the likelihood of severe complications. Mommy makeover surgery is generally considered safe, but any type of surgery has associated risks. The typical issues that occur following a MM are usually minor and most often involve wound healing, fluid buildup, minor infections, and minor bleeding. Serious complications, although rare, can occur, such as blood clots and those associated with the specific surgeries performed.

For instance, breast augmentation can carry risks of implant rupture, or capsular contracture, and tummy tucks carries risks of bleeding, infection, as well as the risks that come with the use of general anesthesia.
