As we age, our skin’s natural ability to produce collagen and elastin slows down. This results in wrinkles, lines, and a loss of volume in areas such as the cheeks and hands. With the use of Radiesse® filler, many of those annoying signs of aging can be diminished and healthy, more youthful features restored.
About
What Is Radiesse®?
Available in two formulas, these FDA-approved dermal fillers work well to correct issues in the lower facial area to conceal and correct moderate-to-deep facial wrinkles and folds, as well as replace lost volume in the cheeks and hands. It is also the only filler available on the market that contains calcium hydroxylapatite, or CaHA, and that is what makes it unique. CaHA stimulates the body’s natural collagen production to help fill wrinkles long-term, but it also provides immediate, natural-looking results.
What Are The Benefits?
- Can be used to correct marionette lines, soften nasolabial folds, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines in the lower face, and smooth crepey skin in the neck, arms, legs, and knees.
- Can be used to add volume to portions of the face and hands to reverse signs of aging.
- Requires no downtime.
- Results can be noticed immediately and are long-lasting.
- It is the only dermal filler that stimulates collagen production.
- Treatments normally only take 15 minutes.
- Fewer Radiesse injections are required to obtain desired results compared to other leading fillers.
- There is very little risk of an allergic reaction because of its natural composition.
What Areas Can Be Treated?
Radiesse filler used for cheeks is an excellent choice to correct volume loss that produces hollow cheekbones. The calcium hydroxyapatite contained in this unique dermal filler is advantageous because it can be sculpted and contoured after it is injected, making it ideal for those wanting facial contouring and shaping in addition to volume enhancement. Other areas that can be effectively treated include:
- Nasolabial folds;
- Correct asymmetry of the midface;
- Can be used in the lower facial area to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines;
- Neck, arms, legs, and knees to smooth crepey skin;
- Cheeks for added volume;
- Hands—used to add volume;
- Buttocks—used for a non-surgical Brazilian buttlift.
Can I Get Radiesse Filler For My Buttocks?
Yes, if you are looking for a little extra booty, this may be the perfect choice for you. This dermal injector can provide some extra boost without the expense, pain, or long recovery period of a Brazilian butt lift (BBL).
Using Radiesse filler for your buttocks will not produce the dramatic results of a surgical BBL, but it is a great choice for someone who would like a subtle volume increase, some lift, and a reduction in cellulite.
Often, it takes more than one treatment to achieve the buttock augmentation results desired. The number of treatments needed will depend on the desired outcome. Each treatment usually takes between 20 and 30 minutes. In addition to adding instant volume, the powerful collagen-producing stimuli found in this unique dermal filler will continue to work, producing tighter, smoother, more youthful-looking skin.
You may experience some bruising, soreness, or tightness, but these side effects will dissipate fairly quickly. The results of your Radiesse buttock augmentation will last anywhere from two to five years.
What Should I Expect from My Radiesse® Treatment?
Radiesse treatments normally take only about 15 minutes to administer and are virtually pain-free. After applying a topical numbing cream to the targeted treatment areas, a tiny needle is used to strategically place the filler under the skin. It immediately goes to work smoothing out lines and wrinkles or replacing lost volume in the cheeks, lower face, and hands. Some results will be clearly visible, such as increased volume, directly after the procedure, while other improvements will appear gradually over time.
How Long Do the Results Last?
The effects of these unique dermal filler injections can be seen right away, and they keep getting better as they stimulate the body to make more collagen. Radiesse Gel contains calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA), which is a naturally present compound in the human body and immediately produces smoother skin and added volume.
The CaHA gradually stimulates the skin to produce more natural collagen, which eventually replaces the CaHa gel that begins to absorb back into the body. So in addition to the noticeable increase in volume, new collagen will begin to form over the next several months and will revitalize areas of your face to smooth fine lines, folds, and wrinkles.
Because of the unique way Radiesse works with the skin’s natural properties, results can last for up to two years.
How Much Does Radiesse® Cost In Atlanta?
