Procedure Steps
You will attend a personal consultation so Dr. Angelina can look at your skin and develop a customized treatment plan to achieve the results you desire.
Your skin is prepared for the treatment with a thorough cleansing, and a topical numbing cream is applied. While your skin is numbing, your special customized solution is created.
Once your skin is numb, the AQUAGOLD® device is filled with your customized solution and it is pressed into your skin using an even and consistent overlapping pattern to deliver the tiny micro injuries and distribute the serum into your skin. This normally takes between 20 and 30 minutes.
A cold compress is applied to the treatment area to soothe the skin and reduce inflammation.
When your microneedling procedure is complete, you can expect some residual redness, but this should dissipate within a few days. Dr. Angelina will provide you with aftercare instructions that will tell you how to care for your skin over the next few weeks. Initially you should avoid washing your face for about 6 hours; you should stay out of the sun, avoid saunas, swimming, steam rooms, and any form of exercise that causes sweating, etc.

Recovery
