Procedure Steps

Your lips will be cleaned, and a numbing cream will be applied to minimize the discomfort during the injections.
The chosen filler will be carefully injected into the targeted areas of the lips using a very fine needle. This hyaluronic acid filler will add volume by attracting and retaining water in the tissue, which causes the lips to plump.
Your lips may then be gently massaged to ensure the filler is distributed evenly and to achieve the desired shape and fullness.

- Avoid touching your lips as much as possible, meaning, do not kiss, pucker (use straws), or touch your lips for between 24 and 48 hours. Avoid using any lip products like lipstick or gloss as well to allow the injection sites to heal. You can gently pat Aquaphor onto your lips to help seal in moisture and keep your lips from drying out.
- Avoid exposing your lips to heat, such as in hot tubs, saunas, or steam rooms, etc.
- It is recommended that you wait about a week if you plan on air travel to avoid additional bruising.

You will see some instant results of increased volume, but the normal side effects of swelling and bruising may prevent you from seeing the true appearance of your lips for about a week. Once the swelling has dissipated, your lips should be smoother, more symmetrical, and fuller.
