What Is FaceTite™?

The ideal candidate for FaceTite™ has mild to moderate skin sagginess around their jawline and under their chin, fine lines, and wrinkles and would like to correct these issues without undergoing a full surgical facelift.
Procedure Steps
The treatment area is cleaned, and local anesthesia is applied to numb the area and ensure you are completely comfortable during the procedure.
Dr. Angelina makes three tiny openings, usually one under the chin and one behind each ear, that are used to insert the FaceTite™ radiofrequency wand.
Dr. Angelina runs the thin handheld wand in the treatment areas while it emits controlled radiofrequency energy both above and below the skin. This energy tightens the skin, melts unwanted fat, and triggers the production of collagen.
Any liquefied fat is gently removed through liposuction, which helps leave the area smoother and more contoured.
The access points are cleaned, but there is no need for stitches. Patients will wear a compression chin strap for a few weeks during the hours when they are home.

Recovery
The recovery for most patients after FaceTite™ is painless and fairly quick. Most patients experience significant swelling for about 3-4 days after the procedure, which is normal. Usually most of this swelling fades in about a week, but it may take several months before all the swelling completely dissipates.
Since there are no stitches, there is minimal aftercare, but Dr. Angelina will provide you with exact instructions for your FaceTite™ procedure to ensure your recovery goes as smoothly as possible. Most patients can return to work within a few days but should avoid strenuous activity for at least two weeks.
Results
It normally takes at least a week to see your initial results and almost 6 to 8 weeks for the swelling to go down enough for you to actually see the improvements. Your results will gradually get better as your body has time to generate new collagen, which further tightens your skin.
Unfortunately, there is no way to stop the aging process, but with proper care, your FaceTite™ procedure should give you many years of a more youthful appearance.
